Lake Wales Little Theatre Cancels Production of “Unnecessary Farce” Due to Illness
LAKE WALES, FL – February 4, 2026 – The Lake Wales Little Theatre regrets to announce the cancellation of the production of Unnecessary Farce.
Due to the ongoing impact of illness affecting our cast, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the current run to prioritize the health and full recovery of our volunteers. We are committed to presenting only the highest quality productions, and unfortunately, we are unable to proceed with the show at this time.
Refund Information
We are committed to ensuring our patrons are taken care of. All current ticket holders will be fully refunded. Please contact the box office directly so we can process your refund as quickly as possible.

Founded in 1978, Lake Wales Little Theatre has provided quality LIVE entertainment to thousands of people in Central Florida. Our 145 seat theatre has a 5 show season that includes 3 adult productions and two children’s productions.
LWLT is a registered 501(3c) Not-For-Profit in the state of Florida.

LWLT is dedicated to producing high-quality entertainment that engages, inspires, and transforms. Through the art of theater, we provide cultural enrichment, creative development, and opportunities for self-discovery. We cultivate the creative energy of our youth, to ensure a legacy of quality performing arts continues in Lake Wales.
