Written by Steve and Mindy Kessler
(Children's Show with a Special Performance by The Theatre Tots)
Stuck on These Islands | September 20-29, 2024
A story of teamwork and adventure. Written and Produced by Steve & Mindy Kessler. After stowing away in a human family’s rowboat for a day of adventure, some ants, beetles, and fleas find themselves stranded on neighboring islands in the center of a lake. Their only hope of getting back to the main shore is to fly there in a toy rocket that the family left on a different island. With the help of a friendly dragonfly, the insects scheme to find the rocket, while avoiding the hungry frogs who live near it. In the process, they learn a few lessons about teamwork and generosity. Most importantly, they all come to realize that everyone is valuable in their own way.

The Bold, The Young, and The Murdered | November 8-24, 2024
Murder mystery comedy. By Don Zolidos and Produced by Playscripts, Inc. 5 W, 4 M, 4 Any. The long-running soap opera The Bold and the Young is in its last days: its hunky hero has self-esteem issues, its villainous old man is more interested in soup, and its heroines are slightly psychopathic. The executive producer gives the squabbling cast an ultimatum: Complete one episode overnight or the show dies. But when the director ends up murdered, and other cast members start dropping like flies, it seems like his threat might actually come true. Can these misfits discover the murderer before the show is literally killed off?
Belles Take the Big Easy
January 24 – February 9, 2025
Directed by
Full length comedy. By Alicia Lane Dutton and Produced by Rebel Belle Publishing. 7-9 F, 2M. Five women travel from Alabama to New Orleans to strike Mardi Gras off their bucket list. At a flamboyant designer’s French Quarter boutique, the ladies film an episode of Celeste’s new web series, “Say Yes to Anything but A Wedding Dress.” Out of Flovilla, Alabama, and now out of control, Regina is ready to cut loose at the slightest opportunity, including getting the go signal at the crosswalk. Uptight Catherine has a new lease on life after her ex-husband drops a bomb shell which has her and the other ladies celebrating with more than coffee and beignets at Café du Monde. At the famed Bacchus Mardi Gras Ball, a fortune teller delivers some disturbing news which sets the ladies on a journey with Marie the Merry Maid, who Celeste believes is VooDoo Queen Marie Laveau reincarnated. After a stop at The Old Absinthe House, the six ladies make their way through the French Quarter and the St. Louis Cemetery to collect the items needed to ward off a perceived curse. With additional adventures on The Cajun Critters Swamp Tour, and at a day spa with a python massage on the menu, the ladies take The Big Easy as only they can.
